This documentary tell the story of 6 Jewish women, from different countries and different backgrounds, that found themselves deported to Auschwitz during WWII and attempts to chronicle that experience through their own eyes. These women tell here of family, faith and uplifting one another while trying to remain human. It was this path of spiritual resistance that, while not responsible for their direct survival, led to their ability to survive with healthy spirit despite their surroundings.
סטלה צור (זילברשטיין) מוכרת לרבים כנוצריה מאמינה, פעילת שלום, פמיניסטית, לוחמת לשוויון וצדק, ופעילה למען אנשים במצוקה בישראל, בפולין ובהודו. סטלה נולדה בלודז' בשנת 1925 למשפחה יהודית חילונית. בשנות מלחמת העולם השנייה חיה בגטו שיידלצה ובמקומות מסתור שונים. תושבים מקומיים בפולין הכבושה סיכנו את חייהם למען הצלתה. במהלך שנות המלחמה ולאחריה התקרבה סטלה לנצרות. לאחר המלחמה המשיכה לחיות בפולין. בשנת 1969 הגיעה לישראל כנזירה וחיה שנתיים במנזר בחיפה. מאז ראשית שנות ה-70 היא מתגוררת בחיפה. בסרט משוחחת סטלה צור עם דלית שמחאי על קורותיה בזמן המלחמה, על פעילותה והשקפותיה, על יחסי יהודים-פולנים, ועל אמונותיה הדתיות והחברתיות....
