סרט תיעודי על ניצולת שואה פרידה קובו מבית מדינה שנולדה בסלוניקי ב-1921. החיים בסלוניקי למשפחה אמידה היו חיים טובים עד שהם נקטעו במלחמת העולם השנייה. המשפחה עם עוד משפחות רבות מסלוניקי הועברה לפולין, לישוב מחדש, אך למעשה הגיעה לאושוויץ. פרידה ואחותה עבדו במחנה. מיד כשהגיעו לאושוויץ ההורים נספו בתאי הגזים. פרידה עבדה ב"קומנדו קנדה" , הנשים שמיינו את המזוודות והחפצים שהובאו על-ידי היהודים לאושוויץ. הסרט מכיל עדות שנמסרה לארכיון ספילברג בשנת 1996.
