Journal De Rivesaltes 1941-1942

Documentary film about the Rivesaltes camp, a camp of families close to the French-Spanish border in southern France, which was managed by the Vichy government. German-Jewish prisoners were sent to the camp from the Saar, Baden and Palatinate regions. The film is based on testimony of Freidel Bohny-Reiter, formerly a nurse in the camp on behalf of the OSE organization, a Swiss aid organization (Le Secours Suisse). Includes testimonies and archival photographs.

שורשי הזיכרון - מסע בעקבות שנה אחת 1944-1945 אל מחוזות ילדות שחרבה

ירדנה קצין (תרזה ליפניקר) נולדה בעיירה Bekescsaba בהונגריה, בשנת 1937. בזמן הכיבוש הגרמני, באפריל 1944 גורשה עם הוריה ומשפחתה אל מקום הריכוז של יהודי המקום וכפרי הסביבה במחסן טבק בשולי העיירה. במהרה הועלתה המשפחה אל רכבת הגירוש לאושוויץ. בערב היום השני למסע נפתחו הקרונות ללינת לילה על הרציף בעיר Debrecen. למחרת הועלו שוב המגורשים, ואז נותקה הרכבת באמצעה לשני חלקים, מחצית אחת המשיכה לכיוון אושוויץ והמחצית השניה בה הייתה המשפחה, שינתה כיוון אל גבול אוסטריה למחנה שטראסהוף (Strasshof).

Heaven in Auschwitz

A documentary film. The story of thirteen survivors of the Holocaust in former Czechoslovakia, during the Second World War. These men and women found a Jewish-German character named Fredy Hirsch, who changed their lives forever. The film describes the terrible living conditions in Terezin Ghetto and; on the other hand, the approach to culture and art behind the walls of the concentration camp. By the end of 1943 these people were deported together with their families to the extermination camp in Auschwitz-Birkenau. And there, in the middle of hell, they lived in.
