Alek, entrusted with undeveloped photos of the horrors within, makes his way to a supposedly safe apartment only to find it occupied by Germans. Lisa Derman's Tribute Video

This documentary, based on family photographs and interviews tells the story of Lisa and Aron Derman, young polish-Jewish couple that escaped the Vilna ghetto in 1941 to join the partisans. Only 15 and 18 at the time, they fought and survived in the forests of Lithuania until the war was over. For weeks they traveled, making their way across mountains and borders. Finally they reached Italy, and there they met the Jewish Brigade. Few in their families survived. For many years lisa devoted her life to education and learning about the Holocaust and humanity.

סרט קצר מתוך סדרה. הפרק השני: שאול שפילמן מספר על גירושו עם הוריו מביתו בוינה לגטו טרזינשטאט בצ'כוסלובקיה, בשנת 1942. הנאצים עשו תעמולה למשלחת הצלב האדום שהגיעה לבקר במחנה. לשם כך, הם הקימו קבוצות כדורגל ושאול הצטרף לאחת הקבוצות. אביו היה אחד מחברי 'ועדת הבריחה' שניסתה להבריח שישה צעירים אשר יפיצו את ההשמדה של העם היהודי בידי הנאצים. מעורבותו של אביו של שאול התגלתה לנאצים ומשום כך גורשה כל המשפחה בטרנספורט באמצע נובמבר 1943 לאושוויץ. שאול מספר על קורותיו במחנה ועל צעדת המוות ועל השחרור.
