לראשונה נחשף סיפורה של הפרטיזנית ויטקה-קמפנר אשתו של אבא קובנר. ויטקה, מודל של יהודיה גאה ולוחמת, הייתה סיירת נועזת שלא נרתעה משום משימה קשה והאישה היחידה שקבלה עיטור גבורה על פיצוץ רכבת גרמנית מתוך גטו וילנה 1942. הייתה זו פעולת התנגדות ראשונה כנגד הנאצים שעודדה רבים להתחיל בהתנגדות, בברה"מ ובפולין.

סרט תיעודי על צביה לובטקין, מנהיגה בתנועת הנוער "דרור" ובמרכז "החלוץ" ועם פעלן יוצא הדופן של ה"קשריות". נערות שפעלו מתוך אחריות לערכי התנועה ולחבריה, מתוך מחוייבות לקשר עם ארץ ישראל ומתוך אחריות לעם היהודי ההולך וכלה. הן נדדו בדרכים תוך סיכון חייהן, בתחילה כדי לשמור על קשר ולבסוף - כדי להעביר ידיעות ונשק שיאפשרו את קיום המרד. ב-1946 זרמו אלפי אנשים לקיבוץ יגור כדי לשמוע בפעם הראשונה עדות חיה מאחת ממנהיגות גטו ורשה, ציביה לובטקין. במשך חמש שעות, בשקט מוחלט, עמדה וסיפרה את סיפור המרד. בעזרת טקסטים אלה, ידידים ומשפחה, משרטט הסרט את דיוקנה של ציביה לובטקין
