From Gandhi to Hitler

A feature. The film is set during World War II and centres upon the letters written by Mohandas Gandhi to Adolf Hitler, denouncing his actions. Simultaneously, Adolf Hitler assists the Azad Hind Fauj, led by Subhas Chandra Bose, which include a group of Indians who are frustrated with the Gandhian manner of non-violence to compel the oppressive British to quit their country. It tries to portray the contradicting nature of Gandhism and Nazism in a dramatic format as well as touching on certain key relations between various factions of the Indian independence movement and Nazism.

This is a Polish-Lithuanian war film portraying the Battle of Westerplatte between the Polish Army and Nazi German forces at the start of World War II in 1939. The film focuses on the conflict between Westerplatte commander Henryk Sucharski and his deputy Franciszek Dąbrowski.
