Is a film dealing with life. It tells the story of Prof. Shaul Harel, alias Charlie Hilsberg, hidden when aged four at the end of 1942, and today an eminent neuro-paediatrician in
Tel-Aviv. How did he survive during the Holocaust? How did he learn to smile again after the war? How did he rebuild his life? It is a tale of resilience, echoing those of thousands of others, and one that he tells (finally) to his own children, grandchildren, and to us the viewers.
Victor Martin's mission tells a unique adventure. His mission would lead him to the doors of Auschwitz. The film was made like a historical road-movie, mixing original drawings, archives, and new testimonies.

A documentary presents one man's courage to return to Nazi-occupied Europe and serve as a covert MI-9 agent. His unwavering determination to stand up, in the face of overwhelming odds, and fight the perpetrators of evil was acknowledged in Den Haag in 2015. He is a hero for us to remember as we, too, are continuously challenged to respond to human injustice and cruelty.
