סרט עלילתי באורך מלא. הסרט מבוסס על סיפור אמיתי. קורותיו של שמואל שטרן, צעיר יהודי, הנרדף על ידי הנאצים ועוזריהם. שמואל בורח על מנת להציל את חייו. מנגד, סטפן , שכנו הפולני . שמואל מתחנן לסטפן, שיעזור לו אך נענה בשלילה מחולטת, מאימת עונש המוות אשר הטילו הגרמנים על פולנים שיעזו לסייע ליהודים. לבסוף החליט סטפן לקשור את גורלו יחד עם שמואל. בסרט באו לידי בטוי ניואנסים קטנים ועדינים של טוב לב ומסירות נפש. אלה היו נדירים בימים הסוערים של מלחמת העולם השניה.

The ﬁlm relates his escape from the Nazi and change of name, forced labor in Germany, a new life in Poland after the War and ﬁnally, after a renewed outburst of open anti-Semitism in Poland, his emigration to Switzerland.

A short documentary movie. This is a story how Poles who live in Suchowola today and who remember their Jewish neighbors. The Polish neighbors were witnesses to the abuse the Jews suffered from the Germans up to the roundup of the Jews in a wooden hut and burning them to death. Suchowola was a small shtetl located between Bialystok and Grodno. Before World War II the population of Suchowola consisted of 3,000 people out of whom 1,500 were Jews. 800 Żydów z naszego miasta

סרט תיעודי קצר אודות יהודי הכפר בירצ'ה. קבוצת תלמידי בית ספר מנסים להתחקות אחר אתר הרצח של יהודי בירצ'ה. אחר פרוץ מלחמת העולם השנייה נכלל הכפר בשטח השליטה הסובייטי, וביוני 1941 נכבש בידי הגרמנים, אשר הפקידו את השליטה במקום בידי המשטרה האוקראינית, אשר רצחה תוך זמן קצר 16 מנכבדי הקהילה. ביולי 1942 נערכה ביישוב אקציה בידי אנשי משטרה גרמנים ואוקראינים, במהלכה רוכזו יהודי הכפר בכיכר השוק, תוך שימוש באלימות רבה, ואולצו לכרוע ברך במקום משך מספר שעות. לאחר מכן, הוצעדו יהודי היישוב כ-30 ק"מ עד לגטו פשמישל, ממנו הועברו מאוחר יותר להשמדה עם יתר יושביו.
