At the beginning, there stood a picture of Justus Nussbaum, a Jew from Osnabrueck and brother of the painter Felix Nussbaum and his employee, the Catholic Wilhelm Hellmeister on the grounds of the metal work company Gossel & Nussbaum.The great-granddaughter of Wilhelm Hellemeister takes this photograph as a starting point on the flight of Justus Nussbaum and Alfred Gossels to Amsterdam.
