A documentary about Stutthof concentration camp in Danzig, Poland. The Stutthof camp was built immediately after the German invasion of Poland. Hundreds of Polish Jews were brought there from Gdansk, as well as Polish Patriots, Poland's Government officials, teachers, military personnel, etc. The men worked in the construction of barracks of the "old camp". An S.S. camp was built: staff quarters, an administration building, shacks, and barbed wire fences were erected. Finally the "new" camp was built with huts and crematoriums. The film tries to portrait these anonymous visitors. After entering into the horror of the place, one can hear their conversation and conclude what Auschwitz means to each one of them nowadays.
