The Cellar

A mono-drama dealing with a Holocaust survivor who is haunted by fears. "The Cellar" is one of the first Israeli films dealing with the Holocaust. The director of the film Natan Gross, born in Krakov and one of the pioneers of Israeli cinema, is himself a victim of the Nazi experience. He managed to survive as a Christian Aryan by using forged papers. The film won the Interfilm Prize at the Berlin Festival in 1964 and was nominated for the festival's "Golden Bear" first prize.

Among a series of aktionen from "The big aktion" that took place on 28 October, 1941 until the "children's aktion" and liquidation of the ghetto in 1944.

Nobody Told Me

A short documentary. The fate of Dr Halina Szenicer-Rotstein . A Polish-Jewish doctor, Halina worked in the Warsaw Ghetto treating patients until she was deported to Treblinka and murdered there on the 12th of September 1942. The story is told through the eyes of Halina’s daughter, Wanda Albinska, who survived the Holocaust along with her three siblings. They were saved by: Dr. Andrzej Trojanowski , Stenia Trojanowski Halina Szenicer Dr. Janina Radlińska, whome were recognised by Yad Vashem as Righteous Among the Nations.
