A documentary. The International Science Conference held in Bialystok on the 17th - 19th of May 2009. The guideline of the Conference was the dialogue and mutual understanding of Polish-Jewish relations. The event took place at the 65th anniversary of the uprising in the ghetto in Bialystok. Among the personalities who participated were professors at universities in Poland, Israel, USA, France, Denmark etc. Honorary President of the Congress was Professor Samuel Pisar. The aims of the Congress were to explore and deepen the knowledge of the past of the Jews in Poland, especially of those in Bialystok, an important town in Jewish history and culture, as well as to educate the younger generation in Poland to admit guilt, shared fate, and openness.
