Veteran journalist Walter Cronkite, speaking from the then new United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, narrates this story of a Holocaust. Historical records, original footage and personal photographs combine to chronicle the rise of the Nazi Party and their genocidal plan to exterminate the Jewish people. Oral histories from survivors present tales of bravery in the concentration camps.
