Schtonk! - The film about the Führer's Book

Based on actual news story that took place in Germany in the early 80s, this comic satire tells of Fritz, a life-long forger of Nazi memorabilia and Herrmann, a journalist who works for a tabloid-style magazine, who run into each other and fabricate a story of "Hitler's Diaries," a con that would acquire headlines for the journalist and cash for the forger. Best foreign language film nominee at the 1993 Academy Award.
