Brundibar - Opera Behind the Walls of Ghetto

Documentary testimony about the children’s opera Brundibar (The Bumble-bee) by Hans Krása and Adolf Hoffmeister, which was rehearsed and presented by Jewish children in the Theresienstadt ghetto during the 2nd World War. There are personal testimonials from the few who, unlike the majority of the child singers, survived subsequent deportation to concentration camps.
