1956, The Sea of Galilee. Rachel Stein, newcomer from Holland meets an old friend. At this point the film goes back to September 1944 to Nazi occupied Holland. Short while after her parents are shot dead by the Nazis, Rachel joins the Dutch resistance. On a personal mission to avenge her lost, she infiltrates the local Gestapo head quarters and under orders seduces high rank officer. Later she falls in love with him and finds herself in an impossible situation: being suspected by the Nazis and by the resistance as a traitor. The film won 3 Gouden Kalf awards (Dutch film festival award) and was Holland nominee for the Best Foreign Language film at the 2007 Oscars.
