Feature film. The destiny of three soldiers during World War II. Marlon Brando, as the German officer Christian Diestl, approves less and less of the war. The American soldiers are portraied by Motgomri Clift and Dean Martin. Jewish-American Noah Ackerman (Clift ) deals with anti-Semitism at home and in the army while Brodway entertainer Michael Whiteacre (Martin) transforms from playboy to hero, The film was nominated for three Oscars.
