Borat Sagdiyev, a television reporter from Kazakhstan, travels to America in order to make a documentary about this great country. In New York he watches the TV show 'Baywatch' and falls in love with Pamela Anderson, He sets out on a journey to find her. On his travels, Borat meets many Americans and challenges them with his broken English and his ideas brought from the heart of Asia. What happens is that in spite of the great distance between the countries, there are many similarities: racism, hatred of women, they are not limited to the so called 'Third World". The fictitious character of Borat allows Sacha Baron Cohen to adopt a simpleton's face and foreign behaviour and to get to the core of what Americans really feel. The meetings get crazier and crazier, the pace gets more and more frantic. Politically incorrect.
