Tracing Annie and Sini de Leeuw of Johanna Reiss’ book "And in the Window of the Sky"

This documentary film presents the bicycling journey of two young women. It is based on the 1972 book “The Upstairs Room” by Johanna Reiss. The book relates the true story of two Jewish Dutch sisters, Annie and Sini de Leeuw, who were hidden in an attic by the Ostrold Family who put their own lives in danger for the girls.
