This documentary, based on archival materials and testimonies, tells of Perigueux, a town in Aquitaine region in France, which following the Nazi occupation of France in 1940 served as administrative center to Alsace and Moselle refugees. Besides the installation of Strasbourg administrative services in Perigueux, this documentary relates the itinerary of some men and women who during the war, had to choose between staying in Perigueux or returning to Alsace, the annexed territory.
