The Dance of Life

Movies
Yehudit Arnon, the founder of the Kibbutz Dance Company, was interned in a number of concentration camps during the Second World War. In Auschwitz, she was forced to stand in the snow for hours for refusing to dance on command. She vowed that if she survived, she would devote her life to dance. The Dance of Life includes archival footage, personal photographs, excerpts from performances and festivals, interviews, and a clip from the awards ceremony where Arnon received the Israel Prize.
