The Michael Nyman Songbook - Ute Lemper

Singer Ute Lemper in her 1992 performances at the Hamburg Musikhalle of songs by composer Michael Nyman. The songs are inspired by a letter from Mozart, two texts from Rimbaud and six songs by Paul Celan (1920-1970). Including Holocaust archival footage, present-day views of concentartion camp and photos of Celan.
