A Visitor from the Living

Movies
This documentary is made from out-takes from Shoah, Claude Lanzmann's 1985 documentary, and is based on an interview he conducted with Maurice Rossel in 1979. Rossel, a Swiss army officer in WWII, joined the International Red Cross in 1943 . In 1944 Rossel heads an inspection delegation of the Red Cross on a visit to Theresienstadt - the Nazis "model ghetto", which in reality was merely a prelude to death in the gas chambers.
