Oskar Schindler - The Man Behind the List

Documentary film that surveys the figure of Oskar Schindler, a German businessman, member of the Nazi party and one of the Righteous Among the Nations who saved more than a thousand Jews from the gas chambers. The film includes interviews with some of the people he rescued and with the author Thomas Keneally ("Schindler's List") and Elinor Brecher ("Schindler's Heritage") who describe the true character of Schindler that led him to endanger his life on behalf of saving many from certain death. Includes photographs and archival films that document Schindler after the war.
