Germany's navy prepares for war with Britain - Fleet Admiral Raeder arrives in Flanders; he confirms the readiness of Channel fortifications against British attacks. Ruins in residential areas in north and west Germany where the British dropped demolition bombs. German ships and fighters launch a counterattack against hostile British planes and drive them off.
