The Jewess and the Captain - A Minsk Love Story

Documentary film that tells the extraordinary story of Ilse Stein, a German Jewish woman who was a prisoner in the Minsk ghetto whose life was saved by virtue of a German officer Willi Schulz who fell in love with her. Includes archival films, testimonies, an interview with Stein herself and documentation of the first official meeting of 200 survivors of the Minsk ghetto after 50 years.
