A documentary film which through the personal story of Elisabeth Sondheimer, a Jew who fled Germany with her family in 1938, and today works in teaching about the Holocaust in the United States, surveys the history of the Jews in Germany in the 20th century and earlier. The film is divided in four parts. Includes archival films.
