Episode 22 - "Japan 1941-1945": Many Japanese were astonished and alarmed when the war against the west was declared in 1941. But after the first victories the early apprehensions disappeared and in their place came joy and pride. In 1944 the scales clearly inclined against Japan, but the Japanese still defended their motherland - unaware of the terrible weapon that would be used against them and end the war.
