Westerbork Camp 1939-1945

Documentary film that deals with the Westerbork camp, a transit camp in Holland that served as a transit station for Jews deported to the east. The film surveys the history of the camp from its first days until liberation in 1945. Includes testimonies of survivors who tell about what happened to them in the camp, archival films and a rare interview with the former camp commander Gemmeker.
