Documentary film about the story of the Bialystok ghetto uprising. From the start, with 50,000 Jews crowded into the ghetto, a movement existed which carried out acts of sabotage. In July 1943, the organisation called on the Jews to stand up to the Germans and not to get onto the trains. A month-long uprising ensued and continued until it was suppressed by the Nazis. Includes testimonies of survivors of the uprising and archival footage.
