The Last Sea 1945-1948

Based on archive films, this documentary presents testimonies by anonymous survivors giving evidence on the liberation, the difficult passages through post war Europe, confrontations with the British Navy, detention at camps on Cyprus, and the final arrival in Eretz Israel. “The Last Sea” is the second episode in a series of three Holocaust documentaries produced by the “Ghettos Fighters House”. (The other two are “The 81st Blow” about the rise of anti-Semitism, and “The Face of the Revolt” about the Jewish Resistance).
