Documentary film that deals with the Armenian Shoah. The film surveys the topic through focusing on the differences between the Jewish Holocaust and the Armenian Holocaust, the taboo and silence in Turkey regarding the massacre of the Armenians, breach of human rights in Turkey at the beginning of the 1980s and the conflict with the PKK, violence and riots against the Armenians in the days of the Ottoman Empire, roots of the conflict that led to the Armenian massacre, independence of modern Armenia, rescue of Armenians by individual Turks, a slight change in the Turkish approach, and attempts at coping with the past. Includes family photographs and archival photographs that document the Armenian massacre.
