A short documentary. Jakub Weksler was born in the Švenčionys Ghetto in 1943. When he was two months old, his mother Batia asked a Polish acquaintance, Emilia Waszkinel, to take the baby and save his life. Emilia and her husband Piotr took little Jakub, and named him Romuald. Weksler was raised Catholic, unaware of his family history, and went on to become a priest. Decades later, Weksler learned of his Jewish roots, beginning his journey back to Judaism.
