Rescue in Scandinavia

The stories of ordinary individuals in Scandinavia that risked their lives to help Jews during the Holocaust. The film describes their efforts and combines interviews made with some of them with original footage. The film presents the impact of the Holocaust in Scandinavia and the study of social values and inter-cultural understanding as essential in learning about WWII. Narration by Norwegian actress Liv Ullmann, that was famous for her work in Swedish cinema.
