The Conference

At the invitation of Reinhard Heydrich, fifteen high-ranking representatives of the National Socialist Reich government and the SS authorities met on the morning of January 20, 1942 in a villa on the Großer Wannsee in Berlin for a "meeting followed by breakfast". The exclusive topic of this round of discussions, which will later go down in history as the Wannsee Conference, is what the National Socialists called the final solution to the Jewish question .
