Don’t cry when I'm gone

A documentary film. The film’s title "Don’t cry when I’m gone" is taken from a popular Polish song written Wanda Sieradzka, the author of many Polish pop hits. This film is about her. She survived the Warsaw Ghetto and avoided annihilation by the Nazis. After the war, Wanda built an artistic career in Poland. The story of Wanda’s life is being told by her friends and her only son, who got back home to look for the traces of his mother’s past.
