A documentary film. The film presents the amazing story of Oskar Schindler's factory from it's establishment by three Polish Jewish manufacturers in 1937 as Rekord, a Polish enamelware and tin products factory, through the time of World War II, until the plant was brought to a standstill. The film touches upon the little known theme of the Polish employees of Schindler's Deutsche Emailwarenfabrik. It features witness accounts by three Poles and one Jew who worked in the factory and nearby plants, illustrated with valuable archive photographs and reconstructions performed in the enamelware factory Emalia Olkusz SA.
