The Bureaucracy of Madness

A video art short. In 1993 no one left the movie theater untouched by the power of Steven Spielberg's Schindler's List,Professor Emeritus Stephen Jablonsky included. Jablonsky went home and wrote a four movement homage to his cinematic achievement. This is the second movement. In music and images it tells the story of how Germany reorganized itself under Nazi rule to conquer and enslave Europe, and visit genocide on its enemies. Jablonsky hopeS this is a lesson to all of us to be on the lookout for any congregation of politicians bereft of morality and human decency. Sadly, the history of unbridled evil is as old as time and continues to thrive in the 21st century. Many of the characters seen here were tried, convicted, and executed for crimes against humanity.
