Freddy Bolle lived in Amsterdam and was active in the Zionist youth movement; he was evicted out of his home and deported to Westerbork, May 1943; Freddy was in possession of an aliya certificate and as a result was transferred to Bergen-Belsen; however he was not selected for the exchange group and was kept in the camp until liberation.
