He also suggests that Rabbi Botshko consider Rabbi Weingort as a potential match for his daughter.

- Postcard from Rabbi J. J. Weinberg in Berlin to Rabbi Eli Butchko, dated 23 November 1938, conveying congratulations on the engagement of his only daughter to Shaul Weingort. He wishes them a successful union, to be brought to the chuppah in peace, and to derive joy and delight from them. He reports that the rabbinical seminary in Berlin is “closed and locked” and he does not know when or if it will reopen. His primary concern is finding shelter for the students. The worries weigh heavily on him, and he is inclined to melancholy and mental unrest.
