Ze'ev (Wilhelm) Hollander lived in Vienna with his parents, Shalom (Siegfried) and Vilma Hollander, and his three siblings, Ze'ev [?], Shaul and Amalia until the Nazi occupation. In 1939 he arrived in Sweden. In 1941 he made aliya to Eretz Israel via the Soviet Union, Turkey and Lebanon. His mother and two siblings perished in the Holocaust. After the war, Ze'ev discovered that his father had been deported to Baku where he died.
