Laboratory notebook containing entries by the researcher and scientist Ludwik Hirszfeld from research on blood groups that he conducted in the Warsaw Ghetto, 1941 Professor Ludwik HIrszfeld continued his research on heredity in blood groups even while he was in the Warsaw Ghetto, until he succeeded in transferring to a hiding place on the Aryan side. The entries in the notebook are in his handwriting; they include results of blood tests by groups that were conducted among ghetto residents and members of the medical staff who continued the research work of Prof. Hirszfeld secretly.
