Juliusz (or Julius or Yehiel) Kuehl, born 1913 in Sanok, Poland, was a diplomat in the Polish Legation in Switzerland, one of the "Bernese Six", particularly known for his role in the production of false Latin American passports by the Polish Legation, thanks to which between several hundred and several thousand Jews in German-occupied Poland and The Netherlands survived the Holocaust.
The file contains telegrams, mostly to or from HIJEFS, although several other Jewish refugee organisations are also represented, namely Agudas Jisroel, Schweizerischer Israelitischer Gemeindebund and Va'ad Ha-Hatzala.
