Testimony of Tzipora Sharf Klein, born in Stryi, Poland in 1936, regarding her experiences during ‎the liquidation of the Stryi ghetto and hiding in a bunker in 1943-1944‎ Her father was a timber merchant who was exiled to Siberia in 1940; the German conquest in ‎‎1941; looting of their house by Ukrainians; order to relinquish possessions; prohibition to leave the ‎house; sale of gold; expulsion to the ghetto; impersonating a Polish girl and escaping through the ‎ghetto fence; looking for food outside the ghetto at the age of five; murder of her grandmother ‎during the Great Aktion; hiding in a wine cellar; mother’s work sorting the clothing of the ‎deceased; mother’s work in the Julin village camp; her escape to the camp; hiding with other Jews ‎in a bunker for a year, 1943-1944; liberation by the Red Army in August 1944; threats of murder ‎and escape to Krakow; return of her father from the Polish Army in 1947; aliya to Israel in 1950; ‎absorption.‎
