Notice sent by the Mauthausen camp commandant to Barend Monnikendam in Amsterdam regarding the death of his son, Jacob Monnikendam, who had been an inmate of the camp, 06 September 1941 Note: Jacob Monnikendam was arrested by the Green Police (German Nazi police) in the Dam Square in Amsterdam while on his way home after a day's work, 22 June 1941. He was sent to Gestapo headquarters and from there to Mauthausen.
