Move to Debrecen; help for refugees from Poland; German occupation, 1944; the father’s transfer to a labor company; confiscation of the store; expelled to the tile factory; theft of valuables; cruelty to the wealthy; deported to Strasshof camp; life in the camp; electric shock in the field; hospitalization in an Austrian hospital; transferred to Vienna; work cleaning streets after air-raids; death march to Mathausen camp; escape attempts and the escapees’ murder; meeting with her father at the camp; death march to Gunskirchen camp; liberation of the camp; receiving medical treatment; return to Hungary; life in displaced persons camps in Germany; aliya to Israel in December 1948; rehabilitation and absorption.
