Testimony of Tzvi Hershel Danik Ginka Rothstein, born in 1933 in Brody, Poland, about his deportation to Kazakhstan in 1940 and his immigration to Eretz Israel via the Dror movement in 1947 Father active in the Bund; father arrested and disappears during era of Soviet rule in 1940; witness deported with mother and sister to Kazakhstan in 1940; sent to the Marinovka kolkhoz (Soviet collective farm); corresponds with family in Brody; lives with Kazakh families; receives parcels from the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee; back to Langenbielau, Silesia, in 1946; joins a children's home of the Dror movement; children's homes in Germany; immigrates to Eretz Israel with help of false documents aboard the Providence; received at Kibbutz Ashdot Yaakov in 1948.
