Her family's life; move to Vienna, 1924; her father's return to Hungary, 1938; demand by their non-Jewish neighbors that they [her family] leave their apartment; receives a Hungarian passport; acts of harassment against Jews; Kristallnacht; return to Hungary, 1938; joins the Bnei Akiva movement; arrival of refugees from Vienna and Poland; receives help from the concierge of their building; ban on participation in activities of the youth movements.
German Army occupation of Hungary, 1944; handing over of valuables for safekeeping; transfer to a Jewish marked house; air-raids including damage to the home [of her family] due to an air-raid; life under German occupation including travel restrictions and the obligation regarding wearing a yellow badge; transfer to another Jewish marked house; receives a Swiss protective passport in the Glass House; draft of her father to forced labor; break-ins by Arrow Cross men; her family receives forged protective passports; concentration of the Jews in the city square; transfer of the Jews to a brick factory; release with help from Swiss Embassy people; request for protection from the Swedish Embassy; meets Otto Komoly; return home under the escort of two Hungarian policemen; liberation of Budapest by the Red Army.
