Father dies in 1936; older brother serves in the French Army in 1940–1943; escaping from Paris with her mother in 1941; escaping back to Paris; life there; escaping to Toulouse in early 1943; life there until the liberation in August 1944; back to Paris; joining the Hashomer Hatzair movement in 1946; immigration to Israel in 1948; establishment of Kibbutz Karmia in 1949.
