German occupation, 1941; expulsion from her elementary school; yellow badge; deportation to Chirpan, summer 1943; residence in a small shoemaker's shop; labor in picking produce, stringing beads and similar work; supporting the family by selling shirts sewn by her mother; transfer to live with her relatives in Yambol; living with her uncle; return to Sofia at the end of the war. Return of the family's property by her neighbors; life under Communist regime; joining Maccabi; aliya to Israel, 1949.
